No student who has been absent on the previous day will be allowed to attend class unless his/her parents have entered an explanation stating the reason for the absence in the Almanac. Students absenting themselves without prior intimation will be fined Rs. 50 per day.
In case of absence of more than two days on medical grounds, medical certificate and prescription should be attached along with the application.
Half-day leave is not granted except in case of an emergency.
A student who absent himself/herself for consecutive ten days from the school without a leave sanctioned by the Principal, is liable to get his/her name struck off the rolls of the school. Re-admission may only be entirely on the discretion of the Principal and only after payment of a re-admission fee.
90% attendance is compulsory for a student to make him/her eligible for the final examination.
